Dear Friends and Supporters of the Eye Health Institute,
Thank you for your supporting our Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts. As a result, we were able to deliver to the parish of Hanover:
- 3 Generators to power rural health centers
- Flashlights and headlamps
- Emergency sleeping shelters
- Emergency blankets
- Tarps
- Hygiene kits, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
- Insulated food bags and backpacks
- Ice packs
- Antibiotics, steroids, and glaucoma medications
- First Aid kits
- Tool kits
- Emergency meals and protein bars
Structural damage to our clinics has been repaired and we are replacing equipment damaged by the hurricane. We are scheduled to resume operations in November 2026. Your generosity has made a direct impact on improving the lives and vision of those we serve in Jamaica.
