Our spring trip to Jamaica was a huge success!
In two weeks we performed:
- 202 Adult Eye Exams
- 197 School Children Screenings
- 4 Low Vision Patients
- 9 Referrals to Cornwall
- 11 Surgeries in Lucea
- 52 Prescription Eyeglasses Dispensed
- 95 OTC Readers Dispensed
Our goal has been to provide the best eye care to people who don’t have the means to access it.
For this reason, it’s never been about the numbers.
It’s been about providing eye care that’s otherwise not available in the region. Because of our incredible volunteers, doctors, nurses, surgeons & interns we’ve been able to accomplish so much. Thank you all!
